India has grown a lot in the market, and had a lot of visitors from Europe and the USA. This has resulted in a tipping practice increase in India. Tips are given when you were served totally well, and you tip around 5 and 10 percent.
Tipping in Japan.
People in Japan treat those who serve them well with respect, but tips are not common. Tipping is not considered as a bad thing in Japan, because many people are exposed to the western culture.
South American Tips.
In case a tip is expected in South America, it is often added to the bill’s amount. The tip might be 10 to 15 percent depending on the place.
